That Ferrari is gorgeous Gjudd. Do you have any up close pics of the seat? I’d like to know the technique for the black belts sewn into the seats on every other pleat. Thanks

That Daytona is amazing! You say restorations and concourse work like it is something "simple" but to be honest, that stuff is the hardest a lot of times because you can just run something custom and make it up as you go along. You are committed to running with an as close to original reproduction as possible and that can be really tough to pull off. Especially with that sweet Ferrari pleat pattern.

I don't i'm afraid, the belts are copys of the original belts made from a thick backed vinyl with some detailing in them, thay then need to be hole punched and backed with black calico before machining to the leather

Pretty awesome. Well done. We actually use this design in some of our customer interior kits that we sell, but kind of our own version of it using leather. Here is a pic of a Miata "M" Edition interior that we did using this design cue...

We took some design cues from the Ford GT seats as well for this Chevy SSR in the second picture...

Some of these classic designs are look pretty amazing on newer car interiors...

Haha... to be honest. This custom stuff takes us a LONG time too because we really like getting things perfect even down to measuring tolerances and making sure they are even throughout the interior. Anyways, doing OEM restorations is a whole other world that would take us forever to learn as well. Would love to come see your work some time on your side of the pond.

Wow, miss a week or so on The Hog Ring and some great work gets posted. Love the diversity that is showing up. Going fishing in Canada for a week no telling what will be on here when I check back in. Thanks to all for sharing.

We do make kits. If you want some more details, email me at jeremy@leatherseats.com. Don't want to steal a thread on the board for any sales if you know what I mean. Anyways, send me an email and I can get you some pricing.

Yes they were completely laced up before installation. The lacing is mainly cosmetic as they were completely sewn and double-stitched. The holes and lacing were done after the seats were all ready, but before installation.

the first one is a 55 ford I did a while ago those little straps on the from are for the guys 5pt seat belt. done with allante and a velvet

the black one is for a jeep cj5 guy just wanted it plain and simple just dropped off some nicely stripped down frames.

the last one is out of an airplane. all leather. did 2 seats in it. I personally think airplanes are harder than auto, there is a lot more attention to detail and it is harder to fasten the covers.

Beautiful work Wrapped Up Interiors! I love the door panels in particular.

What color is that curved insert on the base and backrest? It looks olive green in the photos. It's a cool look!

Thanks guys. Its actually titanium color. It is a very cool material it has no grain in it and has kind of a satin finish to it. Everyone that has saw it in person ask if its metal and dont believe me when i tell them its vinyl. i have to show them a piece of it.

Great Job Wrapped up. Would it be possible to get the color number and manufact. of that vinyl, I love that. Do you have a grommet or collar of some kind inside the holes or just pulled through and stapled? What make of seats did you use?
Thanks!

I will get the material info this evening. I know that they have about 20 different colors that all look really good. The holes are actually countersunk black Allen head machine screws. The front seats are out of a infiniti. Not sure what model or year. I got them at pic a part for 25 apiece and its easy hooking up the power on them. They are out of a 4 door car so they dont have the tilt forward on them but the slide track moves the seat almost touching the steering wheel so there is plenty of room to get in. The rear seats are custom made to look like the front but the have a taper on theback with package tray its hard to see that with the pictures.
