The 2011 IAA Upholstery Awards

March 10, 2011 By Nadeem

The annual upholstery competition formally known as the “Upholstery Journal Design & Craftsmanship Awards” is now part of the International Achievement Awards (IAA) – and accepting entries until July 15, 2011.

The International Achievement Awards highlight the best of the best in the specialty fabrics industry. All upholsterers and upholstery designers are qualified to participate and can submit entries into any of the following four categories: Auto & Transportation, Residential Upholstery, Commercial Upholstery and Marine Upholstery. Winners are selected based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function.

Those who win get a load of press coverage, a featured presence on the Upholstery Journal website and an award to put on display. Winners are also permitted to use the IAA award logo on their company website, email tag and/or business card.

For more information or to see pictures of last year’s winning entries, check out www.ifaipublications.com.
