Mobile Solutions to Host Door Panel Class

Here at The Hog Ring, we’re constantly receiving emails from auto trimmers asking whether we know of any up-coming auto upholstery seminars taking place near them. In fact, we do.

Being such a highly-competitive and specialized industry, most folks are surprised to learn that plenty of auto upholstery professionals are happy to share tips, tricks and even secrets with their peers. One of our goals at The Hog Ring is to keep auto trimmers informed of when and where these events take place.

Last week we told you that legendary interior fabricator Ron Mangus will be hosting a series of hands-on seminars at his shop in Rialto, California. Here’s another great seminar to mark on your calendar…

Advanced Door Panel Fabrication Class

Host: Mobile Solutions
When: May 2 – 6
Cost: $999

The seminar will instruct auto trimmers on:

  • Design and construct of a fiberglass lower pod addition – Advanced fiberglass, in-depth router inlays and comprehensive upholstery techniques.
  • Design and Modification to an OEM door panel – OEM Panel routing and pressed snap in grilles.
  • Complete door panel reconstruction – We will completely reconstruct a complete door panel. Start to finish, you will see every step first hand.

Mobile Solutions further explains:

This course is designed for attendees who have been to our other Master Tech courses or any Advanced Fabricators / Builders (3-5 years minimum experience recommended) Lunch each day is also provided, and a detailed training manual. Accommodations are not included, but Mobile Solutions has negotiated a great rate for attendees at a local hotel and it includes a shuttle bus back and forth to the training facility each day.
