Watch Carlex Design Trim a Nissan GT-R

November 28, 2016 By Nadeem Muaddi

The Hog Ring - Watch Carlex Design Customize a Nissan GT-R

Mondays can be a drag — especially those that follow long holiday weekends. To help you get back into the swing of things, check out this video by Carlex Design in which they fully customize the exterior and interior of a Nissan GT-R.

In addition to a unique body kit and chrome wrap, the GT-R “Robin” sports a ton of awesome interior upgrades — including custom seats covers, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, center console, headliner and floor mats. The Polish trimmers wrapped everything in black Alcantara and Nappa leather, but also threw in some light gray and red leather to break things up.

That’s not all, Carlex Design also covered much of the GT-R’s interior components in sliver flake, which makes for a badass look that matches it’s chrome wrap. The shift knob, door handles, air intakes, dials and speaker cover rock the silver flakes.

But enough rambling about the car. Take a look for yourself…

Hopefully the video inspired you to try something fun and unique at your shop this week! If you do, show us photos on Instagram and tell us all about it in our Auto Upholstery Forum.
