UPDATE: Shop Profile of JNG Creations

January 19, 2017 By Nadeem Muaddi

Auto Upholstery - The Hog Ring - JNG Creations

Check out our interview with Jean-Noël Greffeuille, master trimmer and owner of JNG Creations, in the February 2017 issue of The Shop magazine.

Jean-Noël has one of the most unique stories in our industry. He started as a furniture upholsterer in France before immigrating to the United States, where he eventually opened his auto upholstery shop in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Jean-Noël’s work has been featured in several magazines and won numerous awards — including first in class at the 2009 Pomona Grand National Roadster Show for a 1964 Chevy Chevelle and first in class at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for a 1930 Minerva AL Van Den Plas Cabriolet.

His customers come from all over the United States and even abroad. In fact, Jean-Noël once trimmed the cabin of an ultra-rare Gmund Porsche shipped to him from Austria by Hans Peter Porsche, grandson of the automaker’s founder. The car went on to win first in class at Concours d’Elegance in 2011.

The four-page spread in The Shop magazine is an update to our previous interview, and includes loads of photos of a custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro that we featured 2014.
