April 13, 2022 By Nadeem

The Hog Ring - Listen to Sewn Tight Custom Interiors on NC Shop Talk

Tune in to the latest episode of NC Shop Talk to hear Shane and Jessica Lile of Sewn Tight Custom Interiors talk about their award-winning custom auto upholstery shop near Louisville, Kentucky.

NC Shop Talk is the industry’s first podcast. It’s hosted by Mal Maher of NC Carpet Binding & Equipment.

On the podcast, Shane talks about the origins of his legendary mohawk, and the business benefits it’s provided. They also get into their design process, drag racing and a lot more.

The Man & Woman Behind the Mohawk

How do you stand out from the crowd? What makes people think of you when competing with a dozen other people who are doing the same thing? Shane has managed to do both! Even when people don’t always remember his name, they surely remember the guy with the green mohawk, the man behind Kentucky’s premier hot rod shop, Sewn Tight Custom Interiors!

His wife, Jessica, helps him run the shop. They work hard but do fun things together, like drag racing! The couple has turned Sewn Tight Custom Interiors into one of Kentucky’s premier hot rod interior shops in just a few years. Auto enthusiasts come from all over to have Shane and Jessica design and build their custom car interiors and motorcycle seats.
