Car’s Interior Ruined After Paint Buckets Explode

May 22, 2024 By Nadeem Muaddi

A car was completely ruined after several buckets of white paint explode all over its interior.

Photos and videos of the vehicle shared on X show paint covering the dashboard, center console, seats, carpet, door panels — basically everywhere. On the backseat are several large buckets of paint toppled over.

It appears the vehicle, which is believed to be a Toyota C-HR, was involved in some kind of traffic accident that forced the paint buckets open and toppled them over.

Luden Automotive in Upminster, London, shared the images online, but declined to say how the accident occurred.

“Someone did not have a good day,” a spokesperson for the automotive repair shop told The Telegraph. “A lot of the paint has now dried but I am pretty sure some of it never will. It has left the interior looking like a sculpture.”

He added that the vehicle will likely be written off by the owner’s insurance company, as it would cost more to repair the cabin than the car is currently worth.

All we can say is… damn, that sucks.
