Trimmer Jeffrey Francis Hoye of South Deerfield, Massachusetts, has died at age 67.
Jeffrey was born in Northampton on September 30, 1956. After graduating high school in 1974, he became a mechanic before studying the craft of auto upholstery.
Jeffrey owned and operated Jeff’s Trim Shop, where he specialized in the restoration of classic car and boat interiors.
“Jeffrey was passionate about cars since his early teens and owned and restored many classic cars over his lifetime,” his obituary says. He also enjoyed cooking, baking, music, spending time with family, friends and traveling with his nephews.
Sadly, Jeffrey passed away at home on August 18, 2024 after a long illness.
He is survived by his son, Curtis J. Hoye; grandchildren, Austin and Alanna; brother, Stephen J. Hoye; sisters, Terrilyn A. McCarthy, Lisa M. Smith and Colleen Hoye Senecal; nieces and nephews, Shannon Braack, Sean Hoye, Nicholas Smith, Ryan Mitchell, Brittney Smith, Jacob Mitchell and Trevor Senecal.
