Trimmer Darrell James Strube of Orlando, Florida, has died at age 62.
Darrell was born on July 7, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois, and moved to Florida in 1990.
Darrell was passionate about cars and made them his career, starting off in mechanics before later transitioning to auto upholstery. He was celebrated among automotive and racing enthusiasts throughout Illinois and Central Florida for his craft.
“Darrell was the funniest, hardest working man one could ever know. He would do anything for anyone and always took great pride in all his work. Darrell was a wonderful dad and great husband,” his obituary says.
Sadly, he died on January 19, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Strube; daughters, Dana Strube and Kristin Strube; mom, Carol Woodson; brother, Fred Merle Strube, Jr. “Butch”; sisters, Karen Getz, Stephanie Strube and Tara McKenna; Uncle Chuck Strube; Mother-in-law, Cindy Strube and many others.
