The Hog Ring - Listen to Courtney Hansen on NC Shop Talk!

Tune in to the latest episode of NC Shop Talk to hear Courtney Hansen talk about blazing trails in the automotive world, the challenges of independent television production, and her lifelong passion for cars.

NC Shop Talk is the industry’s first podcast. It’s hosted by Mal Maher of NC Carpet Binding & Equipment.

On the podcast, Hansen shares what it takes to make it in a male-dominated industry, the struggles and triumphs of producing her hit show “Ride of Your Life,” and the deep-rooted passion that keeps her pushing forward. She also dishes on working with some of the biggest names in the industry and the emotional builds that have left a lasting impact on her.

Courtney Hansen on the Hustle Behind ‘Ride of Your Life’

Courtney Hansen is more than just a car enthusiast — she’s a powerhouse in the automotive world. From hosting legendary shows like “Overhaulin” to penning “The Garage Girl’s Guide,” she’s done it all. But her biggest challenge yet? Creating, producing, funding, and starring in her own TV show, “Ride of Your Life” on MotorTrend.

In this episode, Courtney opens up about growing up in the racing world as the daughter of motorsports legend Jerry Hansen and how those early experiences shaped her relentless drive. She also shares behind-the-scenes stories from “Ride of Your Life,” including the emotional builds that have touched her heart, like a special Roadrunner for a young cancer survivor and a dream ’70 Cuda.

From standing her ground in the industry to balancing motherhood with a fast-paced career, Courtney proves that nothing can slow her down. “While you’re standing in your own way, please get the heck out of mine. This Charger Hellcat Redeye is coming in fast and hot, and I am not slowing down,” she says.
