The Viral Headrest Gun Safe Is Going Nationwide with Tint World

July 3, 2025 By Naseem Muaddi

The Hog Ring - The Viral Headrest Gun Safe Is Going Nationwide with Tint World

The Headrest Safe Company — the folks behind the viral gun safe that doubles as a functioning headrest — just announced a partnership with Tint World, the largest auto styling and window tinting franchise in the U.S.

Tint World will now be the exclusive installer of The Headrest Safe, according to a joint news release from the companies.

For those who missed our previous coverage, The Headrest Safe made waves two years ago with its innovative storage system. It’s a discreet, steel-reinforced safe that replaces your factory headrest, providing a secure place to stash valuables like firearms, cash, IDs and other personal items. The company offers multiple lock options — including biometrics, keypads and traditional keys.

Unlike traditional vehicle safes, this one stays completely out of sight — which is exactly the point.

Previously, you could only order a safe online and would have to install it yourself. Now, with Tint World’s extensive network of locations, customers all over the country will be able to order a safe in person and have it professionally installed.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Tint World and give customers across the United States the ability to experience The Headrest Safe,” said Louis Tuck, COO/CFO of The Headrest Safe Company. “This partnership allows us to expand our company’s footprint and give customers an easy way to install our product into their vehicle.”

As the popularity of vehicle safes continues to rise — especially among gun owners and overlanders — this partnership could prove lucrative for both companies.
