Unveiled this month, the Glam LX is less a vehicle and more a mobile dressing room. According to Lexus, it was “built for those who treat getting ready as an experience all its own,” and after seeing the cabin, we believe it.
Inside, the one-off showpiece — created with the trimmers and fabricators at Complete Customs — swaps out the usual cargo space for a full closet, vanity, and beauty stations that would make any backstage crew jealous.
Here’s what’s inside:
• Trunk Vanity & Dressing Suite: French doors open to reveal custom pullout chairs, twin Robern illuminated mirrors, an LED-lit clothing rack, and acrylic drawers for wardrobe storage. There’s even a retractable privacy screen for quick changes.
• Second-Row Beauty Studio: Forget regular seating — this setup has stone-inlay tray tables, a full-width dropdown mirror, and halo-lit skylight for flawless lighting.
• Manicure Station: The front passenger gets an actual nail bar, complete with UV/LED lighting. Perfect for those “five minutes until showtime” moments.
• Smart Storage Everywhere: From hot tool holders to a refrigerated makeup console, the design anticipates every possible need.
Visually, the interior keeps the glam going with stitched pink and white leather, plush mohair, silk, and even stone inlay accents. On the outside, the SUV glitters in a pearl symphony chameleon wrap with crystal-faceted badging — pure spectacle.
Lexus says the Glam LX is a “bold statement of Lexus design and innovation applied in a completely unexpected way,” and that’s putting it mildly. While the concept may never hit production (and Lexus warns the modifications may not even be street legal), it will appear at select car shows so fans can experience it in person.
