Trimmer Douglas D. Shuey of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, has died at age 83.
Douglas was born on September 7, 1942 in Zion. After attending Bellefonte Area High School, he served in the United States Army. Upon his return, he opened Penn Auto Upholstery and then Penn Auto Sales, where he worked for more than 40 years before retiring.
In his free time, Douglas was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Bellefonte.
Sadly, Douglas died on December 25, 2025. He is survived by his son, Brian Shuey; one grandchild; and two siblings, Vicki and Willis Shuey.
