Extreme Upholstery: One Tuft Porsche

June 15, 2012 By Nadeem Muaddi

It’s not often that we see a car with upholstery so ridiculous that it renders us speechless. But what is there to say about this Porsche 924 that a loud gasp can’t communicate?

For the record, it’s entirely upholstered in orange chenille fabric. Yes, that’s tufting on the exterior. And no, you’re not imaging these photos.

This car really does exist somewhere in Russia. We just don’t know why…

We apologize for the picture quality. Apparently, no one with a high megapixel camera deemed this Porsche worthy of a proper photo shoot.

The Russian post dates to December of 2006. Not sure which is worse, the ‘sofa car’ or the matching outfits. Personally, I expect this is like the DirectTV ‘miniature lap giraffe’ ads, and was done because it could be done.
