SEMA Showdown: White Convertibles

November 21, 2013 By Naseem Muaddi

Auto Upholstery - The Hog Ring - SEMA 2013

I stumbled across two beautiful white convertibles with custom red interiors at SEMA 2013, and figured I’d pose them to The Hog Ring community for a showdown. Take a look at the photos and tell us in the comments section below which one you like best.

I would choose the Caddy myself. Both look wonderful and clean, however I prefer a simpler style.

Both are gorgeous. Beautiful craftsmanship all the way around. I’d have a hard time choosing. But if my back was up against a wall, I’d pick the Caddy too. It fits my personal style…

Caddie for me. What’s with the black boot on the Ford?

The car has a black top so they wanted to match that. Although the top looks great with in black, the boot would have probably looked better in red.

I agree with you guys. The Galaxie is beautifull but I’d have to go with the Caddy

Caddy. The grommets on the Galaxie have been overused in the past 5 years.

    Hello Everyone
I am in the same boat. The Galaxie was just a 1/2 cog off with to many grommets and the black boot.
And there is nuttin like the body lines of the caddy to allow the simplistic interior to just POP

prefer the caddy for the complete color match
The ford has too many metal grommets that get incredibly hot in the sun. Not a good idea.

As much as I dislike those vents in the Galaxie, the Caddy is just too low – I would worry about it bottoming out if anyone got in! I have also always loved the eternal trunk on those Fords.

So, Galaxie, even though I like the trim on the Caddy better.

What make rims are on that Caddy?
