Watch Audi Trim a Leather Interior

April 15, 2015 By Naseem Muaddi

Auto Upholstery - The Hog Ring - Audi Leather

Audi has designed and manufactured exquisite car interiors for so long that it’s easy to take them for granted. However, the amount of work that goes into each and every one is truly fascinating.

The following video offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Boxmark, one of Audi’s leather-producing partners, creates their luxurious cabins. You’ll be guided step-by-step from the initial tanning of leather hides, to the testing, cutting, sorting, and sewing of the upholstery components of each interior.

The detailed video will captivate you with the logistical feet of sewing 900 complete vehicle interiors per day using 257 miles of thread, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Pay particular attention to Boxmark’s special machinery, attention to detail and efficiency. It’ll blow you away.
