The devastating floods that struck central Texas over the July Fourth weekend came swiftly and without warning, in the middle of the night.
So far, at least 108 lives have been lost in the disaster, with Kerr County suffering the most tragic toll. Among the victims were 30 children, including some attending Camp Mystic. Authorities say at least 18 people are still unaccounted for.
Entire neighborhoods and businesses were wiped out, and many families — including those in the automotive industry — are now facing unimaginable loss.
If you’d like to support those affected, consider donating to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). This nonprofit organization helps members of the automotive aftermarket community by offering financial aid for temporary housing, food, medical care, and other urgent needs.
Your contribution is tax-deductible and can be made at aftermarketcharity.org. If you’re an aftermarket professional impacted by the floods, you can also apply for assistance through a short and simple application.
None of us can fix this alone — but together, we can offer real help and hope.
