
Trimmer Mario J. DiCostanzo of Johnston, Rhode Island, has died at age 94.
Mario was born on December 8, 1930 in Providence. After completing his schooling, he joined the Army and served in the Korean War. Following his service, he returned to civilian life and pursued a career in auto upholstery.
“His exceptional skills not only contributed to his professional successes but also led to the pride he took in his handiwork at home,” his obituary says. “A notable craftsman, he undertook extensive woodworking projects, including the installation of all the hardwood floors and wood paneling in his beloved home.”
Sadly, Mario died on November 5, 2025. He is survived by his son, John Mario DiCostanzo; his granddaughter, Julia Marie DiCostanzo; his grandson, Leonardo Robert DiCostanzo; and many nieces and nephews.
