
Trimmer Leo Peter Gilligan of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, has died at age 73.
Leo was born in Penetanguishene, Ontario, on November 3, 1952. He made a career as a successful upholsterer. “He was much sought out for his fine attention to detail and quality work in his client’s homes, cars and boats,” his obituary says.
In his off time, Leo enjoyed golfing, horse racing, darts and cards. He also liked working in his garden and going fishing. Leo was very handy and always helped family and friends with home projects. He was also a Royal Canadian Legion Associate member for 50 years.
Sadly, Leo died on October 29, 2025. “Leo was a cherished member of our family, remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit,” his obituary says. “Though he is gone, Leo’s spirit and the memories he created will remain with us always. We will remember his laughter, his wisdom, and the profound love he gave so freely.”
