Design Studio: High-Back Bucket Seat

January 14, 2015 By Naseem Muaddi

Auto Upholstery - The Hog Ring - Design Studio - High-back Bucket Seat

Need to design and upholster a high-back bucket seat for a client? No problem. We’ve just added an illustration of one to The Hog Ring Design Studio — where you can download it for free!

If you don’t already know, our Design Studio is a growing collection of seat and automotive interior sketches that lack color and detail, but provide a solid foundation for you to experiment on top of with various color schemes and stitch patterns. Basically, it’s a coloring book for auto upholstery professionals.

This month’s illustration is based off a Chevrolet Camaro high-back bucket seat, but is generic enough to sub in for any seat with an extended backrest. Best of all, it shows the seat from two angles and includes center points and faint lines to delineate the bolsters from the insert panels.

Print out this drawing and add it to your collection of illustrations. When clients arrive for consultations, take out a set of color pencils and collaborate with them on design ideas and color schemes. Make note of color swatch numbers and other details in the title box on the bottom right corner.

Through The Hog Ring Design Studio, we aim to simplify the customer-consultation process by providing every auto upholstery shop with the ability to produce professional vehicle interior illustrations.

Please visit our Design Studio to download, print and use the illustrations free of charge — and send us your finished renderings for a chance to have them featured on The Hog Ring!

Design is very important in everything. Therefore, I take this issue very seriously. And the choice of the company arose, I reviewed many options and chose one of the best for myself. I would be glad if this information is useful to someone else.
