
Trimmer Charleen Griffeth Carey of Bethlehem, Georgia, has died at age 80.
Charleen owned and operated Charleen’s Auto Trim for more than 50 years. “She had a talent for providing superior automobile upholstery for people all across the southeastern United States,” her obituary says.
When she wasn’t working, Charleen enjoyed attending car shows and was even a member of her local Studebaker Club. She was a dedicated member of Bethlehem First United Methodist Church, which she attended for nearly 70 years.
Sadly, Charleen died on February 26, 2026, at her family farm.
Charleen is survived by her husband, Billy Ray Carey; step-daughters, Debbie Andrews and Susan Parker; siblings, Peggy Baggett and Marveen Brown-Mathis; four step-grandchildren, Ashley DeLaurier, Dylan Hinds, Brad Parker, and Kayla Parker; six great-grandchildren; two nieces, Debbie Eason and Marla Nelson; and one nephew, William Joel Brown.
