When the temperature outside hits 95°F, a car’s interior transforms into an oven – reaching as high as 200°F. For auto trimmers, who spend a large portion of the day stuck working inside cars, it can feel like we’re being baked alive.
Today, though, I refuse to let the sun get the best of me. If I’m going to have to suffer heat exhaustion and the embarrassment of a farmer’s tan, then I might as well get something out of it too. That’s why I’m trying my hand at baking dashboard cookies.
I know it sounds ridiculous. But to keep sane, you sometimes have to do ridiculous things – especially when your shop isn’t air conditioned. Besides, cookies – for me at least – are a real morale booster.

You will have to let us know how this works out for you!
Not bad. A little under done, but is there really a bad way to eat a cookie?
Only when more misses the mouth than makes it in! How long did the scent linger in the car?
lol, dunno. I’ll have to trace down the customer whose car it was and ask…
