Trimmer Gary Howard Williams of Battle Creek, Michigan, has died at age 68.
Gary was born on December 2, 1956 and graduated from Lakeview High School. After working for 18 years at II Stanley, Gary transitioned to auto upholstery, restoring classic cars for 13 years before retirement.
In his free time, Gary was an EMT with Emmett Rescue Squad, a member of the American Legion Post 298, and participated in a local motorcycle club and amateur radio club. “Gary’s vibrant personality was matched by his diverse range of hobbies and interests,” his obituary says.
Sadly, Gary died on September 5, 2025. He is survived by his children, John Williams, Jessica Williams and Amy Hensen; grandchildren, Lacie Williams, Tyler Owens, Connor and Emily Hensen; and his brother, Kim Williams.
“His legacy is carried on through his family and the many lives he touched with his warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him,” his obituary adds.
