Earlier this year, Porsche announced it was bringing back the iconic Pasha fabric for a special edition 911. Well, the news went over so well that they’re now bringing back several other historic fabrics.
The German automaker has announced that it’s reissuing Pasha, tartan and Pepita fabrics, among others, which will be available to order from Porsche Centres or their Porsche Online Shop.

“By reissuing these fabrics we are closing a gap, because most customers want to restore their historic or more recent classic cars to their original condition as closely as possible,” Ulrike Lutz, Director Classic at Porsche, said in a statement.
Lutz also expressed hope that reissuing the original fabrics will make subpar knockoffs fall by the wayside.

“It was particularly important to us in this project that we maintain our quality promise with the fabrics. Unfortunately, there are many imitations on the market that are either not at all suitable as seat fabric or lose their appearance after a short time. That’s why we want to offer our customers a tested original alternative again,” he said.

Of course, the reissued fabrics will meet all the technical specifications of the original fabrics, including the feel, durability and aesthetic accuracy and complexity of the patterns and color combinations.
“Often, the upholsterer only has to reupholster the driver’s seat. In these cases, our aim is to ensure that it continues to match the front passenger seat, which will usually still have its original covering,” explained Product Manager Lukas Werginz.

The fabrics, which are available in 1.5 by 2 meter sizes, also meet all modern requirements for fire resistance, light and color fastness, and abrasion resistance.
Below is an overview of all the classic fabrics that are now available again:

That’s not all! Porsche promised that even more color variants, including pinstripes in the legendary orange “lobster” color, are being planned for the near future.
