Keyston Bros is leaning into the enduring appeal of distressed leather with the launch of its new Showdown II vinyl collection. Designed to capture the depth, texture, and broken-in character people love about aged hides, this line delivers that rustic look in a durable, easy-to-maintain upholstery vinyl.
The collection includes three distinct vinyls, each offering its own take on timeworn leather. All are produced in 54-inch rolls and built to meet the performance demands of real-world applications. Showdown II passes flame retardancy specifications, resists stains, and performs strongly in testing for abrasion, colorfastness, tear strength, and cold crack. It’s positioned as a high-performance material that can stand up to heavy use without losing its visual appeal.
There’s also an environmental consideration built into the line. Showdown II is made with reduced environmental impact and contains no added chemicals or minerals that would make it noncompliant with California Prop 65.
Each vinyl brings a slightly different personality to the collection:
♦ Burton is a Keyston-exclusive upholstery vinyl that delivers a luxurious faux leather feel with an authentic distressed appearance and a sophisticated matte finish. It’s available in 18 colorways, including tones like Java, Autumn, Cedar, and Denim, giving shops a wide range of warm and cool options to work with.
♦ Cheyenne takes its cues from rustic, handcrafted leather. Its distressed grain and organic markings are designed to mimic naturally aged hides, while still offering the durability and consistency of vinyl. Cheyenne comes in 19 versatile colorways, with shades such as Honey, Whiskey, Ruby, and Stone helping reinforce its earthy, heritage-inspired look.
♦ Yellowstone offers a more classic approach, featuring a slightly distressed, pebbled grain that feels timeless and adaptable. With 23 colorways — including Parchment, Spruce, Terra Cotta, and Mink — it provides plenty of flexibility for a wide range of interiors and projects.
With Showdown II, Keyston Bros is clearly targeting upholstery applications where the warmth and character of distressed leather are part of the design vision, but long-term durability and cleanability are just as important.
For shops looking to deliver that broken-in leather vibe without the cost and maintenance of the real thing, this new collection is built to check a lot of boxes. Check it out here!
