SEMA Honors The Hog Ring Founders

August 11, 2012 By Nadeem Muaddi

Some cool news – SEMA has named both Naseem and I to its “35 under 35” list for our work with The Hog Ring! The list recognizes the top 35 professionals under the age of 35 who are doing something new and exciting to change up the automotive aftermarket industry!

We’re honored that an association as large and influential as SEMA values this community as much as we do. We only hope to be able to keep growing it by reaching more auto upholstery shops and improving site features.

Like any community, The Hog Ring is only as good and strong as its members – and we’re fortunate enough to have the best of the best. Both Naseem and I are humbled by everyone’s willingness to share news, exchange tips and offer advice so openly and freely.

You’ve all made this community what it is. We’re happy to call you friends.

SEMA released an image of its upcoming magazine cover on Facebook today. More details to come!

To even get recognized in SEMA and not have something to do with paint or mechanical is a breakthrough. This honor is fantastic for you both. Congrats.

Ok, the big question: WHere are your pics on the cover???

It’s wonderful that you guys are being recognized for all your hard work and determination to get The Hog Ring up and running smoothly.
The members of this forum have known since the start it was going to be big and it certainly is no surprise to us how great the forum and site really is.
I think the site is extremely important to trimmers with problems that they have never run into before, with just a few clicks and a little time most questions can be answered by searching the forums.
The site also gives people with like minds a place to vent and relieve frustrations just by telling someone that understands their mindset, even if they are miles and miles apart.
One other benefit of the site, that may not be realized just yet, people that are interested in getting a car interior repaired may search the internet and find THE HOG RING and see all the hard work that goes into a job and find out that a quote they get from a shop is actually reasonable for the work being done. In other words it may just save some people from “sticker shock”!!!! I know from my experience it takes a lot of time to explain everything that goes into a job, The Ring may just save us time in more than one way!
I for one say its the best on the net and hope it lives forever!!!!! Thanks again guys!!!!
